Clear Book Cover

Fill Car Book Clear Cover
Clear book covers are not something you see everyday and to make my piece stand out, I made it my mission to develop a way to make them work.  I was able to look at a few examples online such as a Dyson book with clear covers.  However, none of these other designs used hinges to give it a clean modern feel.

Larger Than Life iPod

iPod Sculpture
Classic iPod is the most iconic of the iPod lineup which is probably why the iPod Video has remained fairly unchanged over the years.  You just can't improve on an already great design. The circular touch wheel with simple music controls made the iPod a simple iconic for  years to come.  I decided to take this iconic product and make a large, 2' X 3', soft sculpture complete with ports and toggle switch.

A Good Studio Space

sony vaio Good studio space starts with a well light functional space.  Nobody can get anything done in a room they can't stand.  I quickly found that changing my studio space to a functional system of items and materials that interest me inspired more creativity.  Not only that but it did not bother me as much to spend a whole afternoon working on projects and brainstorming solutions to problems.

Underwater Photography

Falling
This past summer I went to Fort Myers Beach, photography here, and did some experimental underwater photography as well.  I had dug up an old Vivitar Mariner that had a 28mm fixed lens and a waterproof housing with it.  The housing was cracked so I had to get creative with clamps to keep it water tight but I was successful in getting some unique shots.

Autumn Photography

Pond Reflection
Autumn: A period of maturity verging on decline.  A week ago I had the opportunity to walk through a park and snap the first autumn shots for the season.  I was pretty excited as I had picked up photography this past winter and have not had the chance yet.   I am very pleased with how the reflections turned out on the pond and the sunlight was just right to bring out the color. Enjoy!

Graphic Designed Ads

Level 32 Trig Ad
Here are a few ads I have made recently to promote the website and get the word out.  I wanted these ads to be visually stimulating and aesthetically pleasing to look at while remaining cost effective to print.  The use of just lines of color instead of just solid triangles makes this much more cost effective to print.  I also designed ads specifically in black and white as well as sticker QR codes.

Abstract Designs

Abstract Sharpie

Here is a series of abstract pieces I made over the past year.  Most of them have several pieces to make the whole art.  I thought this approach made the overall piece more interesting because I focused on each one instead of the overall picture.
