This is a complete redesign of The Great Gatsby that I did for an academic project. I wanted this piece to have a sophisticated and classy feel so I chose to use silver card stock in the cover design. To keep the geometric layout of the icons on the cover I designed a separate slip cover to display the title and other appropriate information.

Social Widget
As some of you know, I used to have the generic social sharing widget floating in the left hand column. I grew tired of the obnoxious looking share box after some of the widgets failed to load correctly and searched for a better one. I was disappointed to see no one had taken up the task of building a nice widget without all the clutter.

Website Examples
Here is a collection of unique and minimally designed websites that I have curated from the web. The collection ranges from company websites to personal portfolios like the one above. This is a very minimal website designed by a UI Designer to promote himself. You can view his work and contact him here: midtonedesign.com

Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering
This is an exceptional piece for the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering rebrand. This piece was done in partnership with Landor in London as a piece of the rebrand strategy. Their new website (qeprize.org) is also designed in a similar fashion. I cannot find the software that was used to render this animation, I am assuming its something more powerful than After Effects considering the number of fragments there are.
