Autumn Photography

Pond Reflection
Autumn: A period of maturity verging on decline.  A week ago I had the opportunity to walk through a park and snap the first autumn shots for the season.  I was pretty excited as I had picked up photography this past winter and have not had the chance yet.   I am very pleased with how the reflections turned out on the pond and the sunlight was just right to bring out the color. Enjoy!

Gravel Path
This shot intrigued me in how the path trailed off in the distance and the trees on the left cast their shadows on the gravel.  Gave the picture plain a sense of depth.

Ray of Light
This was an experiment shot that turned out fairly well for a first attempt at catching the suns rays.  You can see the glimmer of light beside the tree trunk.
Field Pose
I really liked this perspective because the crest of the hill cut off and all you can see are the trees from the other side of the valley.  The lighting was also at the perfect angle for the subject.
Trees Reflection
This one is my personal favorite out of the group on how clear the reflection is on the pond and the vibrant color in the trees.  If you look closely,  you can see the bench beside the pond on the other side.
